Waiting list procedure

To secure your child’s place on the waiting list you will need to complete a waiting list application form. There is no cost involved in adding your child onto the waiting list of a C&K branch kindergarten.

Once complete please return your kindergarten waiting list application form directly to the service. Contact details available at the top of this page. It is C&K policy that we do not disclose where a child is numbered on the wait list.

Should any of your original contact details change please advise the kindergarten service directly.  Failure to update your contact details my result in your child missing out on a kindergarten placement offer.

Opening hours

Operating hours for the Seaforth service are from 8:45am to 2:45pm, on a five day fortnight program, (6 hours per day).  C&K kindergartens are closed on public holidays, this service does not offer an after kindy program.

Parents are requested to be at the service to pick their child up five minutes prior to the service closing. If you are late to collect your child a late fees will be incurred. For more information please speak to the Director.

Fee summary

C&K Kindergartens come under the funding model for Registered Care.

$26 per day for kindergarten aged children.  If you have a Health Care Card you are eligible for reduced fees - please see your service director for further information.  

An enrolment fee must be paid on your child's enrolment.


Information for families who hold a current Health Care Card:
C&K Seaforth Community Kindergarten’s Socio-Economic Indexes for Areas (SEIFA) rating for this service is 6. Under the new Queensland Government Kindergarten Funding Scheme (KFS) under this scheme if you have a valid health care / concession card, you will need to provide your health care / concession card (HCC) details to your kindergarten service to receive a Health Care Card fee reduction subsidy. 

The HCC subsidy is paid directly to the service to reduce your out-of-pockets expenses. The HCC subsidy for 2011 is approximately $1135.75 per annum, subject to a CPI increase in July
.

Age groupings

Recommended age is 3.5 years to 4.5 years.

Additional services

This is a single unit service, running two groups within a 5 day fortnight program.

  • Group A operators Monday, Tuesday every week and every second Wednesday
  • Group B operators Thursday, Friday every week and every second Wednesday
